Once you’ve created your AI Agent in Botsify, it’s important to test how it works before going live. Testing allows you to see how your agent responds, fix mistakes, and refine the experience for your users.
Step 1: Open Test Mode
- Go to your Agent Dashboard.
- Click the “Test Agent” button at the top of your AI assistant screen.
Step 2: Start a New Conversation
- Always click “Start New Conversation” before each test.
- This clears the chat history and ensures the agent behaves like it’s talking to a brand-new user.
Step 3: Try Different Scenarios
- Ask your chatbot different types of questions.
- Test common queries, edge cases, and unexpected inputs.
- If you’ve set up conditions, menu options, or media templates, try those as well.
Step 4: Review and Improve
- Notice if the chatbot replies correctly and naturally.
- If the responses don’t match expectations, adjust your agent’s flows, training, or prompts.
- Re-test until the experience feels smooth and user-friendly.
