One of the biggest advantages of Agentic Botsify is that your AI agent can easily communicate in multiple languages. Whether you want your bot to speak only Spanish, switch to French on demand, or automatically detect and respond in the user’s language, it’s all possible.
Option 1: Set a Default Language
If you want your agent to always start in a specific language, simply instruct it:
Your default language is Spanish. Speak in Spanish in all responses.
Now your bot will greet and interact in Spanish by default.
Option 2: Enable All Languages (Auto-Detect)
If you want your agent to answer in the same language as the user, just say:
You must talk in all languages. Always reply in the user’s preferred language.
Example:
- If a user types in English → agent replies in English.
- If a user types in French → agent replies in French.
Option 3: Change Widget Language
- Click the Settings (⚙️) icon.
- Open the Branding tab.
- Select your preferred Language from the language dropdown.
The selected language will be applied to the chat widget interface, including system text, buttons, and placeholders (where supported).
Example
If you select Spanish, the chat widget interface will be displayed in Spanish by default. Likewise, selecting French, German, or any other supported language will localize the widget accordingly.
💡 Pro Tip: If your website serves visitors from a single region, set the widget language to match your site's primary language for a more consistent user experience.
✅ Summary:
- Set a default language for the agent.
- Or allow the agent to auto-detect and respond in the user’s language.
- Change the widget language for localized UI.
- Switch languages anytime just by chatting with your agent.
