How to add basic messages?

With Agentic Botsify, you don’t need to dig into complex settings. Simply tell your Agentic AI what kind of messages you want it to use — just like you would train a new team member.

1. Set a Greeting Message

This is the first message your agent sends to new users.

Example — type this to your AI assistant:

Set my greeting message to: "Hello! How can I assist you today?"

2. Set a Default Message

The default message is what your AI says when it doesn’t understand something.

Example — tell your AI:

When you don’t understand a user, reply with: "Sorry, I didn’t catch that. Could you rephrase?"

3. Enable Small Talk

Small talk helps your AI sound natural and human-like. You can teach it how to respond to casual messages like thanks, bye, or hello.

Example — just say:

When someone says "Thanks", reply with: "You’re welcome! Glad I could help."  

When someone says "Hello", reply with: "Hey there! How’s it going?"  

When someone says "Bye", reply with: "Goodbye! Have a great day."

Think of it as training your AI employee. Just tell it what you want, and it will remember and use those messages in conversations.
